The Harkila Reidmar GTX boots weigh 756 grammes per boot. They have a medium-height shaft of 8” and a standard last. The uppers are in full-grain leather and the soles are in relatively flexible Vibram®, which ensures good grip. The boots also feature a shock-absorbing midsole, for comfortable hiking. The Reidmar GTX boots have a fully waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and a U-turn® wire lacing system, for easy fastening. The lacing system is very robust, but if the wire it uses ever breaks, U-turn® offer a lifetime replacement warranty. All you need to do is ensure you retain the hangtag that is on the boots when you buy them. The hangtag has a unique code on it, which you enter on U-turn®’s website.
